Upload Points & Standings Update

Required Permissions

The following permissions are required to complete the following task:

• SimRacerHub Administrator
• Google Drive Access

Procedure

Crown Jewel Racing uses a combination of two systems to track driver's and owner's points. SimRacerHub is used to track driver's points, and a manual spreadsheet is used to track owner's points. Points are tracked differently depending on the series, so make sure to pay attention to series specific instructions.

Upload Race Results

1. Log into SimRacerHub
   • Admin > Admin Login
2. Navigate to Crown Jewel Racing
   • Admin > My Leagues > Crown Jewel Racing
3. Select the league in which you are updating and navigate to the schedule.
   • League > Season
4. Under the race you are uploading, look in the furthest right column for labeled "ADMIN". Listed in the Admin box of the race will be a green arrow labeled "Upload Race Results" - click the arrow to continue.
5. Select the iRacing League and Season under the dropdowns listed. Under Sessions, click "Select All" and verify the correct points scheme is selected for the race.
   • If the race had stages, ensure to add the stages using the "Add Stage" button and select the correct points scheme.
     • If a stage ended early, ensure the "End Lap" field is the lap that the caution came out on. SimRacerHub will automatically pull the running order at the time of caution. It is encouraged to manually review this via the broadcast or replay file.
6. Verify the information is correct in all fields and click "Import Results" to finalize the results.

Owner's Points

Owner's points are tracked manually using the Franchise spreadsheets. Select the correct spreadsheet from the table below to begin updating the Owner's points:

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any time you are working within the Franchise spreadsheets, only make edits on the "Franchises" and "Entry Lists" tabs. The "Standings" tab will automatically update based off the information in the other tabs.

Updating Owner's Points

1. Navigate to the spreadsheet for the division you are updating from the table above.
2. Find the column for the race that you are updating.
   • Starting with first place, input the total points earned for each franchise (by car number) from the SimRacerHub Race Results page.
3. For all cars that miss a race, leave the cell for that car blank and fill it with a red background.
4. Make sure to double check that all points have been input correctly for each franchise. It is a good idea to have another admin double check your work to ensure this is done correctly to avoid issues later in the season.

Invalidating Driver Points

Drivers who are not eligible for points in a specific series may still be participating in a race in the various divisions. These drivers need to have their points invalidated once the Owner's Standings are updated. Follow the process below to complete this:

1. Ensure that Owner's Points are input correctly as once you begin this step, you will have to start the process over in order to update the Owner's Standings any further for a race.
2. Using the entry list for the race, locate all drivers that are ineligible for Driver's points in the series (indicated by a "(i)" next to their name).
3. For each ineligible driver, edit their race points using the pencil next to the point values and change them to 0.
   • If a driver earned stage points, they can be invalidated by scrolling down to the stage and editing the value to 0.
4. Verify that all ineligible drivers listed on the entry form have 0 points.

Notify Drivers

When all points are updated, post an announcement in the #league-announcements channel in the Discord server and tag the relevant league drivers and owners (@Cup Driver / @Cup Owner, etc.).
